RAM NATH KOVIND Turns 75

Ram Nath Kovind born on 1st October, 1945 in a small village in Kanpur UP.   He's the youngest of five brothers and two sisters.   His dad ran a shop in the village.   His mother died of burns off when he was five because their thatched caught fire.After elementary school instruction, he needed to walk kms to attend Jr school, in Kanpur from his village.   He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Bachelor of Law in DAV College which is connected to Kanpur University.



EARLY CARRIER: 

After finishing this examination in third attempt but he did not join because he had only scored high enough to operate within an allied service rather than IAS and started practicing Law.

START OF POLITICAL CAREER

He combined Bharatiya Janata Party in 1991 and also was president of BJP Dalit Morcha between 1998 and 2002.  He was also President for All India Koli Samaj.   He donated his ancentral  house to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.   He contested for Ghatampur Constituency Assemblky and defeated.   Afterwards he contested Bhognipur constituency which lost.   In 1997 he joined the potest against specific Central Government  orders which had adverse impacts on SCsST workers.   Later amendments were made to revoke the orders throughout Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. Kovind was chosen and became Rajya Sabha MP in the state of Uttar Pradesh in 1994.  He served for 2 successive terms until March, 2006.   It was during his profession as MP, he concentrated on education in rural regions and helped for construction of school buildings in Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand.

GOVERNOR 

But this appointment was criticised by then Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar as appointment was made without consulting with the State Government.   However, Kovind's authorities was praised by many and comprised to research into the irregularities in the mismanagement of funds and marketing of undeserving teachers etc..Back in 2007 Kovind was announced as a candidate for presidential election and Nitish Kumar supported Kovind's decision and praised the Kovind was very unbiased and supported that the state government throughout his governorship.

PRESIDENTSHIP 

He is the first leader to chosen for President from Rashtriya SwayamSevak Sangh.

PERSONAL LIFE 

They've a son and daughter, Prasanth Kumar and Swathi Kovind, He's a long time practitioner of heartfulness meditation with  of Shri Ram Chandra Mission, with its International headquarters in Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad.   In 2020 he along with his wife seen Kanha Shanti Vanam on the eve of the inauguration of biggest meditation hall on the planet.

CONTROVERSY

From the year 2010, he was reported to possess that Islam and Christianity are alien to the nation as reported and published by Hindustan Times, into the Ranganath Misra Commission which recommended 15 percent reservation for spiritual and linguistic minorities in the governemnt projects.
