Waking up early has been one of the best things for all the people in this world. No matter what they do for living, waking up early is going to be good way to start a day. Our parents knows it. Below are some tips to help you in making this as a habit, Good luck:

1. Don’t make Extreme Changes:  You can’t make changes over one night. You need to start slowly, by waking up like 20-30 mins earlier than before. Like if you used to wake up at 8:00 am, try waking up 7:30 am for the next 2-3 weeks. It is important to get your body adapt to the new body clock. After you get comfortable with your new schedule, try to push a bit earlier till you get your goal.

2. Try sleeping a little earlier:

 People usually stay up late watching TV or surfing internet. If you are following step no.1 above, but staying up late night at your usual habit then you have to give up one. I suggest give up staying up late, you will thank me later.

3. Alarm Clock should be far away bed:

 If the alarm is within the reach from your bed, chances are you will hit the snooze button and keep on sleeping. But if it is far then, you have to get up from the bed to shut it off.

4. Don’t go back to bed again: This is a very common bad habit. You shouldn’t allow yourself to go back to bed as soon as you have woken up. A good habit which can naturally break this bad habit is by: the first thing you do after you wake up is to go to bathroom to pee. Then wash your hand and then your face. Now, you will not feel lazy and you will not go to bed for atleast few hours.

5. Don’t do brain talk: This usually happens when you are in bed. You are conscious but you try to talk to your brain to wake up. No, you can’t talk to your brain to wake up. It is your whole body, which is responsible as a whole to get out of bed.

6. Reward yourself for waking up early:

 This is good way to start making it a natural habit. If you start treating yourself a nice yummy breakfast whenever you wake up early, it will make it more pleasurable for you. Rewards shouldn’t be only limited to eating, you can add anything you like as watching sunrise, or meditation etc.
Take advantage to be an early bird: If you wake up early by 1 – 2 hour than usual, don’t waste it on social media like facebook, twitter. Instead try some productive things useful for you like exercising, preparing exam etc.

If you ask me, getting up early is a reward in itself for me. Try looking outside (or better yet, get outside!) and watch the sky turn into light. It’s stunning, quiet and peaceful. This is one of the favorite time of day, try it.
